Technical Information
The SilverHawks can supply its own backline gear, sound system and basic lighting for all gigs. Here are additional things we require:
POWER
Important! We'll need electrical power supply adequate to handle all of these systems (four separate 15-amp circuits are ideal) with ample outlets near the staging area. Please coordinate these provisions with one of our tech specialists in advance (hawkmaster@comcast.net), if in doubt. We will hook you up with the right person and specifics.
STAGE
We are a nine-piece band, and require a staging area to accommodate our musicians and equipment in a reasonably comfortable layout. Although we are somewhat flexible, here is what we prefer for the best possible performance:
MINIMUM STAGE SIZE - We'll need a DRY area 20' wide by 12' deep or larger. In instances where 4' x 8' risers are provided (all the same height), the configuration should be like the diagram below:

PREFERRED STAGE SIZE - If space and materials allow, this larger size (24' wide by 12' deep) would be even better (more dancin' room!):

For outdoor performances, the band can not set up directly on grass or dirt/mud. A roof or other overhead covering is preferable, due to the possibility of rain and equipment damage. An electrocuted musician is an unhappy musician.
In all instances, we'll need an area to temporarily store empty cases, and a small area near the back of the room or performance area for our sound board and operator (with AC power nearby).
LOAD IN / LOAD OUT
We'll need access to the venue at least two hours before the event to load in and set up our equipment. Exact timing on this could vary due to type of event, accessibility of venue/stage, and other timing issues. It's best to determine exact times that are best for both you and the band in advance.
Generally, we'll need about one hour to tear down and load out.
